Italian Herb Toast

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup olive oil

2 large garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp. dried basil

2 tsp. dried rosemary

1/4 tsp. seasoned salt

1/8 tsp. dried red pepper flakes

1 long Italian bread or French bread

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic, oil, rosemary, salt, basil, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Cut bread diagonally about 1/3 of an inch thick.

  4. Brush with the oil mixture on one side only.

  5. Put on baking sheet oil side up.

  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

  7. Serve warm or may also serve at room temperature.

    **May be made ahead and left at room temperature until serving.
