Breakfast Casserole

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ -2 lbs. bulk sausage 

9 beaten eggs

3 cups milk

1 ½ tsp. dry mustard

1 tsp. salt

3 slices of white bread cut into ¼ cubes

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown sausage and mash with a fork into small pieces while cooking (I use a potato masher). Drain.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the eggs, milk, mustard and salt.

  3. Stir in the bread, drained sausage, and cheese.

  4. Put in greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake 1 hour.

  6. Serve immediately.
