Baked Clams

INGREDIENTS

Clams on the half shell

Chicken broth

Minced garlic

Olive oil

Italian breadcrumbs

Lemon wedges

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place clams on a baking dish that can be broiled.

  2. Cook minced garlic in olive oil until lightly browned.

  3. Pour chicken broth over clamsand a light covering on the bottom of dish.

  4. Spoon seasoned breadcrumbs on each clam and let some fall around the dish as well for dipping later.

  5. Pour the garlic-olive over each clam to moisten.

  6. Broil 5 minutes or until brown. Watch carefullyl not to burn.

  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and fresh bread for dipping.
